Tomini Classics Showroom
This automotive facility was designed to prominently display a collection of 100 classic vehicles, presenting them within a clear and controlled architectural environment. The simplicity of the building’s form provides a neutral backdrop, allowing the sculptural qualities of the vehicles to take visual precedence.
edge Architects developed the design with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and brand alignment, ensuring the architecture supported both display and environmental performance.
Location: Dubai, UAE | Year: 2012 - 2013 | Client: Tomini Group (L.L.C) | Status: Completed

The building is organised to maximise visibility of the vehicles while maintaining a restrained architectural language. Simple, clean lines allow the curves and detailing of the automobiles to stand out without visual competition from the surrounding structure.
Natural light is drawn deep into the building through passive solar design strategies, allowing daylight penetration without introducing direct solar heat gain. This approach significantly reduces the reliance on artificial lighting during daytime hours and contributes to lower cooling loads.
The facades express the core values of the Tomini brand: strength without ostentation, clarity without excessive detail, and a sense of permanence and adaptability. The architectural expression is intentionally understated, reinforcing these principles through proportion and material restraint.
The interior design adopts a cost-conscious approach, utilising locally produced materials that achieve the appearance of a high-end finish without the associated cost. The result is a refined yet pragmatic interior environment that supports the primary function of vehicle display.
The exterior is clean and restrained, while remaining visually dynamic. Strong, simple lines give the building a muscular presence, balanced with carefully considered openings to maintain views where required.
