The design balances refined and raw elements to create a controlled contrast throughout the gym. Natural materials such as wood and leather are set against industrial finishes including concrete, stone, and metal, resulting in a deliberate tension between elegance and robustness.

Materials, colours, and textures are given full exposure, with particular emphasis placed on detailing to reinforce a sense of luxury. High-end gym equipment forms an integral part of the design language, featuring bespoke glitter-metal finishes and custom brown leather seating. Matching leather is also used to clad structural columns between workout zones, reinforcing visual continuity across the space.

The flooring features uneven concrete textures, aligning with the studio’s ethos of using modest materials in unconventional ways. A rose-gold reception desk introduces a sharp, refined contrast to the white handcrafted concrete tiles used at the juice bar. In the changing rooms, bespoke metal-coated lockers designed by edge Architects are set against grey walls, highlighting the contrast between raw and polished elements. Outside the changing areas, colourful wall artwork with cartoon characters introduces a shift in tone.

The first floor is dedicated to light training and is divided into smaller workout spaces connected by illuminated passageways. Circulation is intuitive and requires no signage. Cardio equipment is positioned on an elevated wooden podium overlooking Burj Al Arab, reinforcing the relationship between the interior and its surroundings. Seven Gym is conceived as more than a fitness facility. It is an elite training destination that integrates workout, recovery, grooming, and nutrition within a single, cohesive environment.
