edge Architects was appointed as Design Architect for the project, responsible for the architectural design of the bridge infrastructure within the wider masterplanned district.
Location: Dubai, UAE | Year: 2014 | Client: RTA via Halcrow / CH2MHill & Dubai Properties | Status: Completed

The project scope included the design of six pedestrian bridges and four vehicular bridges spanning the canal network. These bridges form critical connections between development parcels, supporting movement and accessibility across the site.
Beyond their functional role, the bridges were designed to contribute a strong visual identity to the canal network. Architectural expression and integrated lighting design were key components, ensuring the bridges act as recognisable landmarks within Culture Village while enhancing the character of the waterfront environment.
