Customer experience was a central driver of the project. The selected retail tenancy comprises an 11-metre-high ground-level car showroom, with management and operational functions accommodated across a mezzanine and Level 2. The project required careful spatial planning to support both public-facing and back-of-house functions within a single, highly visible location.

The showroom is defined by a triple-height space that reinforces a sense of grandeur consistent with the Aston Martin brand. The original shell did not include mezzanine levels; these were introduced to provide the necessary office accommodation. edge Architects worked closely with the relevant authorities to secure approvals for the additional mezzanines, enabling the spatial configuration required to support Aston Martin’s operational and brand aspirations.

The project demanded rigorous compliance with Aston Martin’s corporate identity guidelines, particularly in relation to materials and furniture. This level of precision presented both a challenge and a key success factor in delivering a showroom environment aligned with the brand’s global standards.
