Al Sufouh Tram Pedestrian Bridges
The Al Sufouh Tram Pedestrian Bridges form part of the first-ever tram network in the Gulf region, developed to support the Al Sufouh transit system in Dubai. The project involved the design of multiple pedestrian bridges located adjacent to tram stations, enhancing connectivity and accessibility within the transit network.

The Al Sufouh transit system comprises a network of tram stations, with 11 stations included in the first phase of development. Four of these locations included airconditioned pedestrian bridges designed to serve commuters and local residents in the Dubai Marina and surrounding areas.
The bridges are positioned in close proximity to the tram stations and strategically connect to adjacent transport nodes. One of the bridges at the foot of the Palm Jumeirah aligns with the Palm Monorail development, enabling smoother multi-modal movement across urban transit systems.
The project supports the overall tram network objective of improved mobility and connectivity across key waterfront and urban precincts, contributing to a safer and more integrated pedestrian experience around public transport infrastructure.
